Fieldhouse Basketball

AS OF 2019, THE FIELDHOUSE WILL BE ONE OF THE ONLY LOCAL COMPETITIVE FACILITIES TO PLAY BASKETBALL AND VOLLEYBALL LEAGUES.  PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE REGISTERING - THANK YOU

 

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ THIS IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR REGISTRATION.  

Due to the influx of teams that we are expecting for the 2019 sessions, we will arrange the sessions to accommodate the most kids to play.

The SPRING 2019 SESSION April - May (8 game session), will either be 18 minute halves or 16 minute halves depending on the number of teams that register.  We would rather have 18 minute halves, but if we can allow more kids to get to play we will keep it at the 16 minute halves.

The divisions will remain the same as the Winter session, they are listed below:

K-1 (coed) through 4th grade, boys and girls   - (there is a separate K1 Girls division)

RECREATIONAL - this is for the team that has not played at the Fieldhouse or similar facility. Many times teams that have played together in a community center or church setting would also fit in this category.

SELECT - this is for the team that has been playing at the Fieldhouse or similar facility for awhile but yet experiences defeat in the Recreational from time to time, however seems to dominate a majority of the time. This team also works on defenses and offenses and understands and implements true plays during the game.* previously, this would have been considered an upper recreational/lower intermediate division. 

COMPETITIVE - This is for the team that has been playing at the Fieldhouse or similar facility for awhile and dominates the Recreational division.  This team is a competitive team however does not focus on traveling to tournaments and often doesn't play year 'round. *previously, this would have been considered an upper intermediate/lower competitive division. 

ELITE - This is for the team that has been playing at the Fieldhouse or similar facility for awhile and dominates the Intermediate division. This team continually practices and plays year 'round and sometimes considers themselves a 'travel' team. 

5th & 6th grade will have the above divisions and we will add the following:

SCHOOL - This division is for the teams that have ALL PLAYERS that attend the same school or will attend the same feeder school (ex: they might have players from different elementary schools but all will feed into Kickapoo)  If you have 4 players that attend town A school and 3 players that attend town B school, this would NOT be considered a school team.

REGISTRATION FEES:

Now through February 9 - price per team is $275 -- no multi team discounts as this IS the multi team discount
February 10 - February 15 - price per team is $300 - no multi team discounts given, still a discounted price                                                                                                            
February 16 - February 22 - price per team is $325 - no multi team discounts given, still a discounted price

February 23 - March 1- price per team is $350 
March 2 - March 15 - price per team is $400
LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS March 15th!

The fee structure is to make sure that teams get registered in a timely manner to give time to make sure we can let everyone play that wants to. In case of more teams registering than we have space for, I will be making a waitlist and will evaluate the schedule and if a team drops out, I will go to the next team on the list.

Nights of play
K1
 - 2nd ... Monday with a back up of Wednesdays
3rd - 4th ... Tuesday with a back up of Mondays
5th - 6th ... Fridays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
7th - 8th ... Wednesdays with a back up of Mondays

REQUESTS 
 There is a space on this registration form for comments - please make sure that you make all requests when you register and I WILL TRY MY VERY BEST to fulfill all the requests, although I cannot guarantee that I can do all of them.

SCHEDULE CHANGES

Due to the large number of teams that we are expecting there will be a game change fee of $50 for each schedule change requested after the final schedule has been published.  Many times I am asked to change a game and disrupt another teams (or multiple teams') schedule and the team requesting the change could have made other arrangements to make it work.  I spend several hours a day making schedule changes and although I want to make sure all teams get to play and no one forfeits, there are other ways that I can use my time to help all teams at the Fieldhouse have the BEST experience.
